The CA2000 Pro takes a longer breath sample than similar models ensuring a more accurate result. It displays the breath alcohol concentration as a 3 digit readout in mg/l unlike other CA2000 models displaying in %BAC. There are more incremental steps to the UK Drink-Drive limit of 0.35mg/l. If you are planning on an above average number of weekly tests we would recommend the Alcovisor Mk X as we no longer offer recalibration on the CA2000. The AL6000/AL7000 series have the facility for self calibration by insertion of a drop in sensor.
Certified by the US food and drug administration (FDA), the unit also meets US Department of Transport (DOT) requirements. It is fully useable in the UK and Europe displaying a clear no nonsense digital numeric readout.
It is supplied with a free 'duracell' battery, 5 reusable mouthpieces (more available separately if required), hard carry box and cover case and an in car power adaptor. An excellent value package. Full user instructions included.
