Breathalyser Direct are very pleased to be able to offer the brand new DA5000 (2009 Model) AlcoSens Plus. This is a good value all round quality model.
The new DA5000 features a handy carry pouch, and a more sensitive and accurate alcohol semi-conductor sensor than the older style AL5000 model which it has superceded. Please be aware that the older AL5000 is still available for sale on some competitor websites !
It also features an automatic counter showing the number of times the unit has been utilised, flow & error check technology also ensures an accurate result.
The DA5000 AlcoSens Plus is a hand held, portable breathalyzer offering a high degree of accuracy. The unit is compact and ideal for personal and semi professional use. The breathalyzer is supplied with a custom carry pouch, 2 Free Batteries and 6 mouthpieces. We can supply extra mouthpieces if required. Please click on the relevant buttons to the right.
It is calibrated to the UK standard of mg/litre but is fully usable in any country.
More accurate than similar models calibrated in %BAC - as there are more incremental steps to the UK driving limit of 35mg/l. (35 steps instead of 8 with some competitor models)
The DA5000 can easily be recalibrated by replacement of the sensor - we can do this for you for when the need arises.
