The new DA5000 features a handy carry pouch, and a more sensitive and accurate alcohol semi-conductor sensor than the older style DA5000 model which it has superceded and is still on sale with some companies.
All our DA5000 units feature the brand new sensor for greater reliability and more importantly are all calibrated to the UK standard of mg/l - UK/Eire limit shows as 0.35 - EASY
It also features an automatic counter showing the number of times the unit has been utilised, flow & error check technology also ensures that the user provides an acceptable breath sample.
The DA5000 is a hand held, portable breathalyzer which is perfect as a device to check for morning after residual alcohol.
The unit is compact and ideal for personal use. The breathalyser is supplied with a custom carry pouch, 2 Free Batteries and 6 mouthpieces. We can supply extra mouthpieces if required. Please click on the relevant buttons to the right.
It is calibrated to the UK standard of mg/litre but is fully usable in any country.
More accurate than similar models calibrated in %BAC - as there are more incremental steps to the UK driving limit of 0.35mg/l. (35 steps instead of 8 with some competitor models)
